Domino and Powder are in Goat Paradise

Yesterday I took Domino and Powder to their new home with Kristie and Chris Young of Gig Harbor, WA.  Their place is so nice for goats.  They have a great barn that they built a sweet little stall complete with a sleeping platform.  Their property is 2.5 acres of meadows and forests.  These little goats are soooo happy!  And I'm happy to see that they get such a perfect new home.  Thanks Kristie and Chris!

Bye Blackstrap, Hi Manny!

Blackstrap went to his new home today at Soaring Hearts Farm -- We will miss him, but he looked like he liked his new place and has some fun new friends.  He'll bring some great new genes to Wendy's herd.

Then, we traveled to Whidbey Island to Rancho Amara where we got GingerbRED Man "Manny" and brought him home.  He is so cute and has the very longest red locks.  I've never seen so much fleece on a 3 month old goat.  He will be a great addition to our herd.  He's doing just fine getting used to the yearling wethers, Choco and Oatie.  He's not that much smaller than them.  Once he's used to them, I'll introduce him to the other bigger wethers.  Later on this fall, hopefully, he'll be able to have some rendevous with the ladies :)
